'Life is love''
A passion for the truth
Monika was born and raised in the West Frisian village of Andijk, located near the IJsselmeer. A childhood peeling tulip bulbs and lily buds in her father’s flower bulb company.
After studying business economics, she chose the accounting profession. “Intellectually challenging with figures and people to help the world with reliable information,” as she puts it. After an intermezzo of 26 years in which she mainly helped multinationals, Monika has returned to the profession of public accountant. For half her time.
Because Monika discovered a new passion at the age of 50: searching for the truth of humanity and writing books about it. The research into the question ‘Why are women oppressed?’ resulted in her first book ‘For our daughters’.
The other half of the time Monika is a writer and researcher. The next book will be about men and everything human that does not identify as male or female. They also deserve a book, says Monika. Their lives are just as important. They play a crucial role in the turbulence of our current time.
A different way of looking
This different way of looking led to amazement. For example, I was surprised by the global problem of women’s oppression. The seriousness of this injustice led to a years-long search for the truth: about our animal species, about men and women and about our culture. To find out, I reconnected with nature. This time not with the clay, but with the water. I would like to share the abundant insights I found with you.
In my book For our daughters you will find the hidden truth about our evolution and about the feminine and the masculine. And how these truths gave rise to the present and how we can use them to save our future.
We create a human world together. The 10 conditions for human well-being play a leading role in this. I have put this into a thinking and measuring model: the Humanity Index. Free to download in a clear ebook.
Natural female leadership is so important to our world. For our future. That is why I give this exclusive 3-day course in a beautiful natural environment for small groups of participants. Including a personal leadership reflection session.
Together towards a better world
A better world starts with you, or so the saying goes. I agree with that, but otherwise I mainly believe in ‘together’. And I would like to help you a little further on your journey. Together we make the world more beautiful and better. I wish you much love and wisdom.
Monika Bankert (1966) was born in the IJsselmeer village of Andijk. She is the mother of two daughters and a son and married to Marco. Their blended family has five daughters and a son.
Others about me
'There she stood. Monika Bankert. On the stage of the Artis planetarium. In a Sheila de Vries dress that sparkled in the light. The crowd kept clapping. Her proud husband Marco and their six children shone in the front row. And behind them are friends, also from high school, scientific inspirations, family, fellow board members and supervisors.
Monika is an accountant and interim manager of the international business community and now a writer. Her book For Our Daughters is in stores and in the hands of an eager audience. She lets you know what the secret evolution story is and how things can still turn out well.
Monika first followed the online writing training Write on and then a personal writing process. What started cautiously soon became crystal clear: writing the book about female leadership. Because she had a wish: a primal human Earth for everyone. And to make that very concrete: a world in which all women can swim naked whenever they want. “I want to change the view of humanity,” she said firmly. 'Together towards a future in which the female voice is decisive again.'
